iPod Touch 1G PHONE sleeve for VoIP
Here is their site where they feature this info:
http://www.mangodoo.net/index.php?page_id=3&product_id=7
They also have a few other interesting things on their agenda in the future.
So I take no credit for this idea, I simply have been working on making my own for quite some time now and I’ve finally come up with a pretty solid prototype.
I used the plastic piece that comes in the box with your ipod touch, its the plastic piece that your ipod sits on and has a hole in the middle that shows “ipod 16GB” or whatever, I cut it to size, and taped the wiring on the back along with my speaker.
The first application I used was SiP VoIP.app.
The phone application where I accessed my contacts was Siphon.app. Both of these applications are available through installer (not the new Siphon App Store) and were created by Touchmods.
Sip VoiP seems to come out louder through my speaker but I just realized that Siphon also works through my speaker.
Thanks

I just made this speaker setup.
cool but if u have the knew ipod touch then instead oh having that mic stick out buy this knew adapter/mic thing and tape it onto the back. i know its for the iphone but it also works with ipod touch
THATS FREAKIN AWSOME!i saw there finished (or almost finished) (not sure) product and they really compacted every thing and had a couple of nice features
dude one question…do you need to put a simcard inside the ipod touch?…..how do you know what your number is?
what ear phones though please tell me anyone asap
I would but I dont have another plastic piece to use. I only had the one that came in the box with my ipod.
I cut it to shape (roughly) and then ran the cables on the back, then covered them with tape. Luckily I had some wire slack that I use to secure my device in place.
I had a speaker I got from an old cell phone which is a lot smaller but I ruined so I used this speaker from an old pair of headphones.
Volume control thing came from a Grifin Smartshare headphone splitter.
Thanks 4 watching
dude can u make a video of how i can create one of these “sleeves” for my ipod. 1 generation
