I have few Voip geographical numbers (1 uk and 2 italian local numbers) and I wish to manage all of them without using 3 different soft-phones as I do now. Which software offers me the possibility to this?
Apparently the premium version of X-Lite is able to do it but the free version gives me some connection problem so I don’t dare to buy the premium one.

We have Time Warner Cable, and Vonage phone. When we are uploading/downloading something on the internet (we own a home-based design business, so this happens often), the quality of our calls is horrible (sometimes not even able to use the phone).

What (if anything) would fix this? A higher speed internet connection? Or should we look at switching to a phone line that is not VOIP?

I am interested in a VOIP system that my computer doesnt have to be on all the time for. I would prefer like a system that gives me a perminant phone number.

I would like to buy credits to use the VOIP service for calling out. I would like to know which one is the most recommended for Malaysians (such as Skype, Yahoo Messenger etc.) in terms of cost. The countries I would call are USA and Malaysia.

My boyfriend has VOIP and we believe his wife (they are going thru a divorce) has somehow found a way to unblock all incoming blocked numbers. Even if I use *67 my name/number show up on the caller ID, as well as all other anonymous or blocked calls they receive. Is this possible?

Is it necessary to understand what is VoIP before attempting an Internet phone call?

I haven’t got much of an idea what I’m looking at, I need to buy a new phone for the house but I’ve seen some which are compatible with VOIP but are expensive, is it worth the extra money.

I am wanting to switch to a VOIP – like vonage or lingo – to save some money – but I am sooo confused. I have read so many bad reviews online for vonage, but also good ones. I was hoping someone might have a reccomendation of a VOIP provider – or any personal experience with Vonage or Lingo.
