World over, telephone users are finding new ways of speaking with each other, by using VoIP services. VoIP technology is a way of transmitting voice data using Internet Protocol through the World Wide Web. So, with computer as the transmission media, it allows the user to go for Global conversation at any time. Services offered over VoIP are very inexpensive and are considered as an efficient mode of world wide communication.

Voice over IP refers to transmitting voice communication over IP network, for instance Internet. Unlike PSTN, through VoIP technology user can send images, videos or voice through the same line. The service of VoIP is to terminate the international long distance calls coming over the IP to the destination PSTN.

To define VoIP Service; user’s analog voice is converted into small packets of digital data and sent over Internet connection to VoIP service provider. Voice service provider gets it connected with PSTN at recipient’s end and then the process of receiving is reversed. The digital packets are turned back to analog signals, so that user can understand conversation. Each time you speak, the process is repeated. With VoIP services, any user can make calls at any given time period. While accessing the VoIP services, user accesses long distance and international calls at cheaper rates.

To avail VoIP, users have to install additional piece of Analog Telephone Adaptor (ATA) to its computer. This ATA is generally supplied by the VoIP service provider when user signs up for the service. Once the user phone is installed with VoIP software and ATA, user can make phone calls as normal; using standard phone. VoIP services offer users to make multifarious processes at same time; for instance while surfing the web, user can talk to his friend over the phone. Moreover, unlike PSTN with VoIP service, a user can listen to voice transmission without any gap in stream of digital packets.

The first steps in accepting VoIP technology as tomorrow’s communications infrastructure is ultimately understanding exactly what VoIP is, what your choices there are, how you may benefit from your selection, plus, how to select the best provider.

There is no question that VoIP is the next great revolution in voice communications. After reviewing the advantages, its clear that the expense of switching to VoIP is low compared to the savings it can bring.

Getting started with VoIP is often simple. Yes, it can provide cheaper calling, but the real value of VoIP is that it opens up the ability to add new and useful applications to voice communications. The major advantage is the cheaper price.

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is simply the transmission of voice traffic over IP-based networks. VoIP has become popular largely because of the cost advantages to consumers over traditional telephone networks.

Telephone calls now can be placed either to other VoIP devices, or to normal telephones on the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).

VoIP technology, by its very nature, is more flexible and extensible than traditional voice transmission technologies due to its distribution and architecture. VoIP may seem complicated at first glance, but the concept is simple: Any form of communication that travels through a conventional phone line—voice calls, faxes, voice messages and conference calls—can also travel in digital form through an IP (Internet Protocol) network. VoIP, on the other hand, transmits the voice as digital packets, just as e-mail and Web browsing is transmitted.

VoIP has many advantages, including: Lower cost. Providers offer more competitive pricing for a couple of reasons. VoIP is not regulated by the FCC and is not subject to the same taxes as standard phone companies. Providers offer software-based telephone features unimaginable on traditional wireline or even most wireless telephone networks. In addition, plans do not charge a per-minute fee for long distance. For International calling, the monetary savings to the consumer from switching to this technology can be enormous.

There are three methods of connecting to a VoIP network:

-Using a VoIP telephone

-Using a “normal” telephone with a VoIP adapter

-Using a computer with speakers and a microphone

Calls from a VoIP device to a PSTN device are commonly called “PC-to-Phone” calls, even though the VoIP device may not be a PC.

Calls from a VoIP device to another VoIP device are commonly called “PC-to-PC” calls, even though neither device may be a PC.

Like many new technologies, it has started its economic life by reproducing familiar services and features from the established products it is trying to replace; in this regard, VoIP providers promote PBXs, call routing, automated voice response, and other things businesses are used to looking for.

More and more businesses today receive their telephone service through the Internet instead of from the local telephone company lines. The primary reason for switching to VoIP is cost, as it equalizes the costs of long distance calls, local calls, and e-mails to fractions of a penny per use. But the real enterprise turn-on is how it empowers businesses to mold and customize telecom and datacom solutions using a single, cohesive networking platform.

VoIP’s potential cost savings are obvious when a business considers running all of its calls over the same IP network it set up internally for data, as well as over a phone line to its internet provider (which could be its phone company).

With today’s ever-growing awareness of the benefits of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), more and more enterprises are implementing or converting to VoIP. While challenges still exist in the adoption of VoIP, the benefits of this technology over traditional voice networks are many from increased productivity and operational flexibility, to greater cost reductions and investment protection.

You have seen the commercials on TV and everyone is talking about it – how great home VOIP service is and why it is the best thing since sliced bread or canned beer. Everyone is jumping on the VOIP bandwagon, and it has now been over a year since the first landmark date where new VOIP installations outpaced new traditional phone activations. If it is this good and everyone is on board with it, what could possibly be the disadvantage?

There is a disadvantage to home VOIP service, and in fact, there are multiple disadvantages. One of the biggest problems is that it is not yet universally available in 100% of the country yet simply because RELIABLE high-speed Internet service is not available yet in 100% of the country. How much of the country remains to be covered by reliable high-speed Internet service? That is a two-part question, simply because of the keyword “reliable”.

High-speed Internet service for home is available in most metro areas across the country. For VOIP usage, note that satellite is not recommended, and wireless is also a question mark based on the state of today’s VOIP technology. But even where high-speed Internet service is available, it may not be reliable enough to use VOIP. Today’s residential high-speed Internet access in a surprisingly high number of residential locations is abysmal, compared to some of the very “connected” countries elsewhere, like in the UK and Finland. Some people are putzing along at speeds that rival DIALUP speeds, thinking they are getting high-speed. If your “high-speed” Internet connection is like that, don’t even try VOIP.

The reason for mentioning this is because a lot of people have given VOIP a bad name because it did not work for them. What they don’t realize, however, is that it was not the VOIP provider or the VOIP service that blows, it is their high-speed Internet connection that blows, and until that problem is resolved, tins can and a taut string will work better than VOIP.

But the real problem, the big disadvantage with VOIP is its availability. For several decades, we have all become accustomed to the telephone, and we pick it up, and it just works, almost every time, no question about it. If you think about it, your telephone is probably the thing that you have the least amount of problems with for anything in your home. But now with home VOIP, you are using your high-speed Internet connection to make and receive phone calls. If your Internet connection goes down or is not reliable, guess what – you have no VOIP service. You could not make a VOIP phone call if your life depended on it.

What is a good point – what if your life DID depend on it? Your house is in flames around you, or you have a burglar trying to jimmy your front door. If your Internet connection is not working, you will NOT reach the police or the fire department on your VOIP phone, regardless of how many times you dial the number!

VOIP is good stuff, definitely, but you need to be aware of what it requires to make it work correctly, which is NOT something that the VOIP provider gives you with the VOIP service in most cases – a reliable high-speed Internet connection. In the same way that when you buy tires for your car, the salesman does not provide the air that goes in them to make them work, home VOIP service without a reliable high-speed Internet connection is like a flat tire.

The way business is conducted in the modern day world has transformed – for the better – with the emergence of voice over Internet Protocol. This fact holds true as much for businesses located in the Middle East as for corporate houses and organisations operating in parts of Europe or Asia.

With the implementation of VoIP, there is significant savings in terms of infrastructural and communications costs. In addition, there is a convergence of the several processes that ensure more efficient use of scarce resources. All these factors add up to increase in the profits of the business houses opting for VoIP. As a matter of fact, this high-end convergence technology is giving the much needed fillip to corporate entities to get ahead of competition in their respective sectors.

Many companies in the Middle East have benefited from this revolutionary technology. The providers of VoIP business phone services in these regions can vouch for this fact. Due to all the benefits that it entails, the users of VoIP business service have been more that eager to internalize the same. As a matter of fact, many of these entities have been rather amazed with the entire process of making calls, wherein the data travels quite like the email messages and web pages through the Internet.

As of now, the VoIP business in the Middle East – or for that matter anywhere else – is replete with possibilities. The demand conditions are very strong. For starters, the networking infrastructure can be made more versatile with the incorporation of VoIP technology. With a dependence on Voice over IP, all sorts of internal communications can be efficiently dealt with. The costs incurred on equipment and maintenance can also be brought down quite significantly. A single IP based network is all that is takes to converge video, voice and data networks. Specialized infrastructures for voice, video, or data can be done away with. Corporate users in the Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are more then happy with all the developments in this sphere.

The easy availability of bandwidth is another major factor that has contributed to the increasing popularity of VoIP. Other benefits that come with Voice over IP include seamless connectivity and more engaging options for customer satisfaction. Companies that have implemented business VoIP can deal with their end users and customers in ways that were outside the realms of possibility, even a few years ago.

Quite a few players in the Middle East have realized the importance of buying up VoIP minutes for their overall growth as well as for ensuring efficiency in their operations. From businesses in different domains, calls centers and contact centers, to service providers, resellers and carriers – all have realized the tremendous VoIP business opportunity that is staring them in the face.

As a matter of fact, the new and innovative applications based on converged IP networks have facilitated the proper implementation of the latest business strategies. This in turn has resulted in quick returns for all the parties involved. Two trends in the Middle East has made the process all the more easy and hassle free. The telecommunications sector, for one, has been deregulated. Many countries have also made VoIP technology legal – a second trend that has obviously gone in favor of the increasing popularity of this high-end technology.

The VoIP phone service is an advanced technology that has replaced the traditional means of connectivity. This technology involves the conversion of analog voice signals into digital packets and then transferring the packets over the internet network. This is what the technology is all about when over-simplified.

The VoIP phone service also needs a PSTN or IP PBX for its completion. The PBX is a replacement of the traditional telephone exchange and helps in terminating a call to distant places of the world. The technology is much more superior in comparison to traditional telephony system as here one has the option of Caller ID, Call waiting, call transfer, repeat dial, return call and three way calling facility. A VoIP phone service provider too takes advantage of these facilities and offer them to their customers at minimal rates possible.

The VoIP internet phone service can be availed on a PC or a laptop. Voice over IP telephony is powered by high speed internet connection. At low internet speed, however, the connection gets slowed down with less capability to transfer files. VoIP is also famous for its feature whereby the users can make calls and simultaneously share files with the person to whom one is talking. So, files transference becomes fast with high speed internet connection. The broadband phone service VoIP, also enables the viewing of the end user on the computer screen. So, users can actually see the person to whom one is talking. This system allows people to talk for hours without any disruption or interruptions during the conversation.

The VoIP phone services are available at every place of the world. The service providers come up with exciting plans from time to time. Moreover, they have a customer service team that comes to the aid of customers in a 24 x 7 environment. Thus, queries placed by a customer, are answered instantly. So, users are guaranteed a solution in case of any emergency situation when their VoIP phone might just fail to work. This is, however, very rare a case as the users are constantly given a technical support by their service provider.

The facilities of VoIP internet phone service are also increasing day by day. A user can see the caller ID with Name, make long distant calls and even buy cards to avail the services from any part of the world. The card facility is meant for this reason when users can connect with the VoIP phone even while they are traveling.

Information about the VoIP service is available on the internet. This phone service provider too keeps on updating the internet with the latest information about their services. The users can find information about the price, availability of the service at a place, technical support and other such important details.

The services offered by the providers are reliable, stable and secure. This brings peace of mind to users as they can now depend on the services to peerlessly connect with people living at different places of the world. The users can depend on this new generation telephony solution to stay in touch with their near and dear ones.

The VoIP phone service can also be used to meet business as well as professional requirements. Thus calls centres and other such organisations completely rely on VoIP to give un-staggering service to their customers. So, VoIP has become indispensable for such companies. The users feel overwhelmed to utilise its various options such as 3 way calling and call forwarding. Thus Voice Over IP can involve a multiple number of people in conversation and dialogues.

A number of VoIP resellers and wholesale carrier service providers presently exist in the telecommunication sector. The reason for this sudden boom of VoIP services has a lot to do with the evolving requirements of both businesses and residentials. Globalisation is one of the main reasons for this change in the way people communicate. Communication is no longer restricted to making local calls to the clients. People need a cheaper way to communicate without sacrificing on the quality of service.

This is where business VoIP comes in. VoIP business solution provides a cheaper alternative to traditional modes of communication along with the same voice quality, if not better. Moreover, it substantially increases the productivity of a business entity.

VoIP solution is not meant for any particular segment of the industry, but it can be utilised by all sectors to provide a complete package, which enhances the way they communicate. Various VoIP service providers offer different tailor-made services to give corporates an added advantage. For instance, there are different services and features for contact centres and Internet service providers through which they can increase their profit margin.

How Can Contact Centres Gain From VoIP?

1. The most important benefit that contact centers get is the ability to provide customer support service through long distance calls at a much cheaper rate. This greatly cuts down on their total telephony bills

2. Some VoIP service providers also provide them with predictive dialers which help in enhancing their operations. With the help of the predictive dialer, agents do not have to manually call the clients; rather the outgoing calls are automatically routed to the customers. It can also distinguish between a voice mail and a live voice from the receivers end. If it’s a voice mail, it disconnects that call and calls another number thereby saving a lot of time

3. VoIP providers can also offer virtual or DID numbers to contact centers. With the help of these numbers, contact centers can operate from off shore wherein reasonable manpower is available. Their clients would be calling on the local numbers which would be provided to them but the call will be transmitted to the place where centres agents are situated

How Do ISP’s Make Profit With VoIP?

1. Internet service providers can bundle up their existing broadband connection service with voice over IP service, thereby giving their customers the benefit of using two services at reasonable cost. This way ISP’s can increase their earnings from their existing client base.

2. They will also be able to increase their customer lineage with the help of business VoIP service. Customers do not have to worry about taking care of two separate bills every month and coordinating with different service providers. They can opt for a single ISP provider who will be able to provide them both with broadband services and cheaper VoIP calls round the globe. Business VoIP solution has come as a boon for both its providers and users.

There is certainly a lot of excitement these days where many people are talking about the benefits of VOIP phone service. At many colleges across the country, students frequently do not even have a traditional phone in their dorm or apartment but use VOIP services instead. Did you ever feel like they know something that you need to know about?

Let’s talk about VOIP and what it can mean for you. VOIP phone service is not without its own set of disadvantages, so be sure you consider all the angles before you run out and sign up for VOIP.

VOIP phone service uses your existing high-speed Internet connection and allows you to make and receive phone calls over the Internet. That is the entire bottom line summary of what VOIP is. But you need to dig under the surface a bit in order to determine if VOIP is right for you.

First of all, not all parts of the country can get a local phone number. If you live in a rural area, chances are that a LOCAL telephone number for your VOIP service is not going to be available. What that means is that if someone local wants to call you, even your next door neighbor, they may have to make a long distance call to reach you.

Can you move or “port” your existing phone number to your VOIP phone service? Supposedly the answer is yes but I do not recommend it. I have seen too many horror stories where the local phone company has screwed this up and then you end up losing the phone number you have had for the last 50 years.

Next you need a high-speed Internet connection. This is NOT provided with your VOIP service. The majority of homes in the US who would be good candidates for VOIP phone service already have a high-speed Internet connection, so it is going to use something you already have anyway. But be aware of two caveats here:

1. A high-speed Internet connection does NOT include satellite. If you have a satellite high-speed Internet connection, do not consider VOIP because you will not be happy. Sure they will SELL it to you but with a satellite high-speed connection, you will not be happy and you will sound like you are talking from the bottom of a bathtub in best case.

2. How reliable is your high-speed Internet connection? If it is not reliable, if it is iffy, if it has frequent outages or if you are getting a very slow speed, perhaps due to the distance limitations of DSL where you are at the very end of the service area, VOIP is not going to work well for you. Remember, if your Internet connection goes out, so does your VOIP service.

Now if you have not been scared away yet, then VOIP phone service might be a good idea for you. VOIP conversation quality is typically as good as or better than your traditional phone conversation. But the big draw for VOIP is the economic considerations. With your phone company, a phone line costs about $25 a month and for that you get a dial tone and perhaps unlimited local calling. That is it and everything else is extra. But with VOIP phone service, you get unlimited calling throughout the entire continental US (some VOIP providers also include Canada), plus caller ID, plus voice mail, plus call waiting, and the VOIP service costs about the same amount of money, and with some VOIP providers, even under $20 per month. Even if they are the same, the fact that long distance is already included in your VOIP service is a huge benefit.

VOIP phone service may or may not be right for you, but once you have considered all the factors, it can save you a ton of money each month.

The magical VOIP phone can be a novel and stimulating skill for many people, but for others it can be a menacing and baffling undertaking. A VOIP phone might present an arrangement of challenges and issues that you may not be ready to face without learning a whole lot more about what is involved with Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).

There are easy ways to learn about this VOIP phone system technology, however. You can check out some information on the internet, for example, or talk to a local phone company customer service representative and ask them all of your questions.

Finding a VOIP vendor in your area can be easy, especially now that VOIP phone system technology has an overwhelming amount of influence in the markets. People are getting tired of their conventional phone services and wish to switch to something that makes calling more inexpensive and more convenient.

Whether or not VOIP phone system technology is the right answer to this question is still a little up in the air, but more and more people are willing to try VOIP systems now more than ever.

VOIP has a variety of names. The most commonly referenced name for VOIP is Voice Over Internet Protocol. It is also known by IP Telephony, Internet telephony, Broadband telephony, Broadband phone, and the popular Voice-over-Broadband.

Essentially, all of those names refer to the same basis element of VOIP; it involves the routing of voice conversations over the internet or through any other possible IP-based network capability.

Companies that supply VOIP to customers are called providers. A provider uses a protocol, which is a term that refers to the set of standards that govern communications, to grant their customers the ability to get through on their network. VOIP systems, thus, enable customers the ability to work through networks like the internet to place all of their phone calls.

The cash savings come by way of utilizing a single network to make all of the calls. Many providers have the networks previously in place due to their ordinary telephone services, so hooking up VOIP costs them little to no extra capital.

VOIP phone systems, for many providers, are almost like free money in the bank. They create the possibility of free calling from one VOIP services user to another, enabling long distance calling to become a lot less of a hassle for the average consumer.

VOIP will change the way we talk to one another, once again, if it hasn’t already. The emphasis on VOIP that will really drive a path through the market of telephony will be the cost to the consumer and to the companies involved.

Companies like Vonage VOIP, CISCO VOIP and others hook up VOIP telephony through their existing technology and are enabled an entirely new brand of customer base for little to no cost to them. The customers experience the savings, too, often paying little for a phone plan that enables them to essentially make endless amounts of calls over the VOIP systems.

Voice over IP phone will be the way of the future for many households, especially those that would benefit from having greater long distance telephone possibilities at their fingertips. The world is changing and VOIP phone technology is fast becoming a leader in bringing people closer together without the cost of traditional long-distance telephone systems.

Since ages, human beings have always sought out new ways to talk with each other. First there were the smoke signals and then there was Morse code. Today it is VoIP and its majestic features and therefore all humans are coming closer with the help of this technology.

The functioning of VoIP bears a strong relation to the process of sending of data across networks. Hence VoIP and the internet are two entities which are involved together in providing the best of features available in terms of communication.

The full name is a clear indication that this technology is a protocol which uses the advanced feature of voice transformation into digital signals for the purpose of making phone calls. Hence calling through VoIP occurs when voice is transformed into digital packets and these are send to the respective network destinations(the phone, PC or VoIP phone to which the call is being made). This is the network process and the physical medium being used is fibre optics. This physical medium is also another reason behind the low costs that these calls involve or even are completely free in some situations. The basic reason is that data in fibre optic cable is transmitted in its digital form and these cables can carry a larger amount of data than the traditional metal cables. Hence VoIP calling is an affordable event and is also quite fast as well as secure.

Anyone can make a VoIP call in many ways. The primary way is to use VoIP phones or normal phones which have ATA (analogue telephone adaptor) installed in them. The ATA adaptor is used for the basic purpose of making an analogue phone capable of handling digital system based calls with the help of VoIP. Then the user can also use his PC for making calls and there are a large number of VoIP softwares which have been made for this purpose and are available for download on all the VoIP service provider websites.

The internet has two facets associated with it and these are the internet and the intranet. The former is used for worldwide connectivity while the latter is used for staying connected within an organisation. If the underlying concept behind this is employed in the case of VoIP, then the business dimensions of VoIP also come into play with the presence of VoIP PBX(Private Branch Exchange) systems. VoIP and the internet hence give another marvellous feature in the feature of making businesses staying connected with all of its global offices with the help of this technology. There are hence many solutions which are available and all of them also come with a bunch of lucrative and economical features. The presence of this system which has lead to a new dimension altogether in the era of human communication is therefore fabulous.

Ever since VoIP has made its mark as the most promising new technology in the telecommunication sector, everyone everywhere is utilizing their resources to find the best VoIP service that is available in the market. The task though a little time consuming is not impossible if you know what exactly you are looking for.

There are a number of factors that may control our preference over different VoIP service providers. To attract the customers, IP telephony providers are coming up with various features that, though are a definite add on to this technology, are not essential for your telephonic needs. There are other factors more important than features like call waiting and 3-way calling that needs to be up-to-date and in excellent shape for VoIP to truly benefit you.

One of the ways to find the best available VoIP services is to go through various Voip reviews that are available on the Internet. All one needs to do is a thorough web research in order to find the services that would serve your purpose in the long run. But, there is a chance that instead of giving you a clear distinction between the various service providers, too much information may end up further confusing you.

In such a scenario, one needs to realize their end objective and then proceed with the process of micro selection. Before being swept away by the endless add-on features, compare the rates of the different VoIP service Internet. Rates are one of the most important points that should form the basis of your selection. The best part about Voip is its cost effectiveness. So opt for a voip provider who is offering you the best rates possible.

Also ensure that the voice quality and clarity provided is excellent. So, before closing the sale of VoIP minutes check the routes which would be provided to you. At the end what your clients would be satisfied with (or not) is the quality of service that would be provided to them. Clients are even willing to pay a little extra provided the service that is being given to them is above average.

Besides voice quality and clarity, other factors that go into making a service a delight to use are ACD, ASR and PDD. ACD stands for average call duration. An ACD of 5-6 is considered as good whereas above 8 is taken to be above excellent.

ASR gives the number of calls that get connected out of the total number of calls which the customer made. 50-60% of ASR is considered good, whereas above 75% is excellent.

The best VoIP service would be the one which gives higher ACD and ASR. The final decision should be based on the rate that the IP telephony provider is offering and their ACD and ASR.

Voice over Internet Protocol uses the acronym VoIP, but more commonly refers to the phone service over internet. VoIP is the new wave in marketing that creates a better phone and data service. The business is open not only in the United States, but worldwide with a wide range of potential growth opportunities for agents, resellers and wholesale brokers. Major companies like Vonage and Skype are the two largest residential VoIP carriers but there are so many facets that go into VoIP like broadband, IP phones, direct sales, channel sales, and wholesaling VoIP termination minutes and worldwide local telephone numbers. Depending on what avenue a person chooses to pursue there is little to no start up capital needed.

The opportunity for getting into the market is varied you can keep you current job or add a value added service and still earn from this new break through market. There is the position of independent agent. Their job is the marketing of the VoIP system to would be clients. The agent then earns a monthly residual commission for the term of the contract from each new client that he/she adds to the company. The easiest position is simply become an affiliate adding a link to your own website. You will not earn the residuals like an active agent, but you will receive a one time flat commission.

The ability to be a part of the VoIP market at this time is sensational! Many people are getting turned on to a segment of the market that little has been revealed a wholesale VoIP provider broker. The wholesale VoIP provider broker brings buyers and sellers together for a percentage of the deal providing worldwide VoIP wholesale termination. Each country in the world is considered a “VoIP Route” and depending on the supply and demand of the market the rates constantly fluctuate. Some consider it a type of ‘commodities trading” with the market constantly changing along with the quality of the routes. There are routes that are considered “grey” because they a low in cost, but the actual overall completion of the calls ratio is lower then having a consistent white route. The ability to be a part of the VoIP market at this time is sensational!

VoIP is a telephone process like none other it offers great functionality along with low cost for service. VoIP is not like the traditional telephone companies no need for service technicians and many wires. VoIP connected to your computer by an IP phone or an ATA system. You can use your own phone and the ATA system or obtain an IP phone. When you travel all you need to do is connect your phone to the computer and you can pick up any phone messages, save them to file or delete whatever is important for you. You not only have an excellent phone system but you are able to use the same system to send data.

VoIP a very low cost system for you to use is easy to maintain. You need not worry about having to wait days for a technician to come to your home to repair the system. You will not have the high cost of maintaining a repair program or paying a high price to get your system fixed. The system easily adjusted and you can connect it or do what ever you need to get yourself back on line.

VoIP offers twenty-four hour service, which means anytime you need you can go on line and get in contact with your special technician who can tell you in minutes what to do to fix your system. The only requirement is that you need to make sure that you have a very good internet provider that gives you high speed for this fantastic phone and data service because your VoIP service is only going to be as good as your internet connection.
